    •  Studies have also shown that women with PCOS are likely to have low self-esteem and a sense of loss of womanhood due to their external features which led to sexual dissatisfaction, eating disorder, and QOL.
    •  Previous studies have suggested that PCOS-related symptom profiles adversely affect HRQoL.
    • Domains like disturbed menstruation, weight gain, hirsutism, and infertility put extra burden on the female, altering her self-perception. 
    • People with PCOS are about 3 times more likely to be diagnosed with anxiety and depression than people without PCOS
    • Perhaps not surprisingly weight was found to have the worst impact on HRQoL.
    •  As women with overweight and obesity find it very challenging to reduce or maintain a healthy consistent weight which leads to demotivation in their fitness journey. 
    • PCOS has been identified as oxidative stress
    • PCOSQ is a questionnaire containing 26 questions with 5 domains like emotions, body hair, weight, infertility problem, and menstrual problems. 
    • Studies suggested that PCOSQ was a reliable and feasible tool to identify areas that can be improved to rejuvenate the HRQoL in PCOS individuals.
    • Researchers have found that exercise and yoga help in alleviating mental sickness 
    • Exercise kicks up the happy hormones and gives one good sleep
    • Yoga is a holistic approach that can be employed as a restorative tool to gain harmony between mind and body
    • 150 min/week of moderate to vigorous activity is recommended for every adult.
